December 25th
Christmas to me as alway mostly means kugelhopf....which in my household is a slighly sweet bread with almonds inside. It's the only thing I really need to make it feel like christmas to me
Our first "tree" ha ha ha I went into the back and got some clippings from the trees in the yard.
They didn't seem to mind much.
One of Chris' presents. He makes a lot of timed things .... I thought he might like a kitchen timmer. Too bad it dosen't "hoot" as the alarm.....just Brriiinnnnsgggg

Rain rain
I was woken up by the sound of thunderous rain......must be winter in Olympia. Not unusual to awaken to rain anymore....
On my way to work the weather forecaster is laughing while he says "Today...watch for heavy rain, after that....some more rain. Changing to showers, a drizzel and then steady percipatation....we will be looking at this as the forecast (snicker) until...sometime.....well until further notice (laughter) Because well ..... this is the north west.
Below image taken today from weather.gov
Thank goodness I fendered my bike.
I'm planning my trip to the land of sun as I type.
I haven't come up with a way to pay for it yet....thoughts?

Well.....The training has begun. Trainers for the bike. Fenders for the other bike....and lifting heavy objects....tough to find the time for on my 7 day a work week schedule. but...it is what it is. Fun is what it is....and hard. but hard IS fun.....right?

AIDS/Lifecycle It begins
SO about a month ago, i joined one of my best friends in what is quite possibly one of the more interesting things I have involved myself with. A 545 mile ride with over 2,000 other people. All riding to support the AIDS community as well as the LBGT community.
I thought it was time to get a start on biking for a purpose other than self happiness. (Which is a good reason, but only I profit.)
So, I'll start, biking in this rainy weather. Or more likely in the garage on the trainer.

Grandchildren flowers
Line work, done. Color work next!
I know, I know......more red raw photos of tattoos. I swear once everything heals and settles into it's more normal state I will post those too. But they will be on my tattoo web site, which will open WHEN I HAVE GREAT PHOTOS!
For right now.....red raw photos it is.
Hybrid Moments 2/3rds done.
Well, the letter is on, Hybrid moments lives. Now all that is left, is a key, a ribon, and some color wash. But we will get there later. My client is a doll.

The Note Boards

This was my first painting/noteboard.
The image is painted on the reverse side of the glass so that you can make notes with a dry erase board. It works super well.

This one above was on request from a friend. Who had the idea one summer day this past season.

This on is my favorite. It was the inspiration for the below painting.

Acrylic
